3. How do I repay my loan?

To repay your loan, please follow these steps:

  • 1. Log in to the ChapaaNow app.
  • 2. Tap “Outstanding Loans” or “Bills” on the homepage.
  • 3. Select the loan you wish to repay.
  • 4. Tap “Repay Now” and follow the payment instructions to complete the transaction.
  • Once your payment is successfully processed, you will receive an SMS confirmation.

4. When will penalties be incurred if I fail to repay my loan on time?

If your loan is not repaid by the due date, a late payment fee of up to 2% per day on the outstanding principal may be applied, in accordance with the loan terms. Late repayment may also affect your future borrowing eligibility and credit record. To avoid additional charges, please ensure your loan is repaid on or before the due date.
